eGardening
This class will tour
gardening websites while teaching basic internet skills. Mouse
skills required.
Microsoft Excel
I
This class is designed for first-time Microsoft Excel 2007 users.
Class covers spreadsheet basics, simple calculations, and basic formatting.
Photo Blitz
This class, for beginners, will cover basic digital photo skills, such as
organizing My Pictures folder; adding a photo to greeting cards and letters;
formatting photos (cropping, resizing).
Bring your own photos on CD or flash drive.
Kids Be Creative Online
This class will tour
websites which encourage creativity. Geared toward students aged 7-10.
Mouse skills required. MS Word II
This class is for those who have taken our Word I
class, or have some experience using Microsoft Word 2007. Class will
cover advanced formatting, text boxes, labels, page headers/footers, and
more. Mouse skills required. Intro to Microsoft PowerPoint This is designed for first-time users of Microsoft PowerPoint 2007. Have fun creating simple slide show presentations using text, graphics, photos, and animation. You must have some computer experience to take this class.
Genealogy Workshop This workshop is for anyone interested in researching their ancestors. Library staff will demonstrate online databases and other helpful websites. Participants will search census records, birth and death records, war records, family histories and much more! Bring your ancestor names and dates.
Computer Basics Recommended for first-time computer users. Includes hardware components of a PC, files and folders, printer, mouse and keyboard basics. No computer experience required.
