TLC helps make the library a better place for teens. Meeting at the deAngeli Branch Library on the third Thursday of the month. Meetings take place in the fiction area on the second floor of the building.

Gentle yoga to strengthen the mind, body, and self-image. Perfect for beginnings looking to learn the the principles of yoga, intentional breathing, and mindfulness.

Enjoy popcorn and a movie at the library! We will have relaxing lighting, activity sheets, and coloring pages.

Create art based on author and illustrator Eric Carle’s collage work. for kids ages 5-12.

Babies and their caregivers are invited to a special themed social event made just for them every month. Followed by a short storytime. Ages 0-2. Registration Required.

Learn to use a sewing machine to create your own pillowcase! Materials will be provided or you can bring your own if you want. If bringing your own, please bring 2 pieces 35in. x 23in.

See and touch love animals at this fun show and tell event! Great for all ages.

Stop by for a self-directed game of horseshoes at the Clifford Park horseshoe pit behind the library. Please bring your own horseshoes. 

Join a certified yoga instructor for 45 minutes of gentle outdoor yoga to strengthen the mind and body! Please bring your own yoga mat or towel. Before starting any new exercise you should consult your doctor first.

Learn the basics of hiking! Presentation will include info on what equipment to bring, how to dress and how to choose the right trails and everything someone new to hiking would need to know.

Join us every Tuesday & Thursday for a FREE lunch for children ages 0-18! Registration is required for lunches. To register, call the deAngeli Branch Children's Desk by noon the day before the program.

Child Tutoring: Tutoring is for elementary children between grades 1st through 4th who need assistance in reading and/or math. Kids will have one-to-one instruction with a trained tutor.

Join us for a kids yoga class instructed by Ms. Felicia. Bring your own mat or blanket and learn some new yoga moves together. For families with kids aged 2-12. Please register grown ups in the family in attendance as well.

The Knitters Group meets at the Metamora Branch Library on Thursdays from 1-3pm in the meeting room. Participants are welcome to gather to knit or do other crafts that can be hand carried. No paints or other liquids allowed.

Crochet with Julie! We will be crocheting a water bottle holder for a fun and easy summer project. All materials will be supplied. Registration is required as is a prior knowledge of basic crochet skills and stitches.
