Stop by for a self-directed game of horseshoes at the Clifford Park horseshoe pit behind the library. Please bring your own horseshoes. 

Child Tutoring: Tutoring is for elementary children between grades 1st through 4th who need assistance in reading and/or math. Kids will have one-to-one instruction with a trained tutor.

Join us for a kids yoga class instructed by Ms. Felicia. Bring your own mat or blanket and learn some new yoga moves together. For families with kids aged 2-12. Please register grown ups in the family in attendance as well. 

Join us for LEGOS®, crafts, & games! For kids ages 5-12.

Fun & games for tweens & almost tweens!

Early literacy fun for children 0-5 years old! 

The Knitters Group meets at the Metamora Branch Library on Thursdays from 1-3pm in the meeting room. Participants are welcome to gather to knit or do other crafts that can be hand carried. No paints or other liquids allowed.

Take home a furry friend to hand stuff. Kit includes a 16" unstuffed furry friend, wish-star and birth certificate.

Join us for our annual Music in the Park in front of the Clifford Branch Library! Bring your lawn chair or blanket.

Gentle yoga to strengthen the mind, body, and self-image. Perfect for beginnings looking to learn the the principles of yoga, intentional breathing, and mindfulness.

If you enjoy reading and sharing books with other adults, check out the LDL Book Discussion Group. This book discussion group usually meets the fourth Friday of each month at 11:30 am at the Marguerite deAngeli Branch Library.

Create a scene from your favorite book or movie and show it off to your new peers during the program. Finished projects will be on display in the children's area for one month.

Learn the basics of geocaching from the Lapeer Cachers. The class will teach you how to use your equipment, which geocaching websites to use, and also provide some hands on experience by having participants find geocaches within walking dista

Join us for our tween Pizza & Pages monthly book club!

Bring your knit, crochet, or other needle art project for an enjoyable evening with other like-minded crafters. The Needles and Hook Club meets on the first Thursday of the month from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Hadley Branch Library.

Writers Circle is a group of local writers who come together once a month to share new writings, get feedback and encouragement, and hopefully, direction as to possible publication. Our writers do fiction, plays, poetry and memoir.
