A special board meeting will take place on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 10 AM at Oregon Twp. Hall 2525 Marathon Rd, Lapeer 48446.

The purpose of the meeting is to hold library director candidate interviews.

Event Details

The Friends of the Marguerite deAngeli Branch Library will host a used book sale beginning Monday, May 24 through Saturday, May 29 at the Lapeer Center building.

All visitors will be asked to use hand sanitizer as they enter and be required to wear a face covering. Tables will be set apart so customers can shop safely. All customers will need to pay either by check or exact change and will be placing their money in a box. Plastic bags will be provided by the group for customers as well. Workers will not be handling either money or books.

Thursday May 27 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Friday May 28 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  ½ Price Book Day

Saturday May 29 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. $1 a Bag Day
