Great Start Parent Coalition

The Great Start Parent Coalition of Lapeer, consists of parents, grandparents, foster parents, guardians, and caregivers of children. Our parent group is dedicated to informing and shaping early childhood initiatives and community resources while helping families raise children who are supported and prioritized. We hold monthly parent meetings where we come together to encourage and support one another by sharing our resources, personal experiences, questions and stories from our everyday life as caregivers. We hold workshops, participate in community events and advocate for assistance at the community, county, and state level.

Being a member of our group is completely free! There is no fund raising, no dues, no requirement to attend meetings. We want to help parents with young children know their voice has a place to be heard. Want to learn more?
