Program Description

Members from the Lapeer Chapter Flint River Watershed Coalition will start with a short presentation about various bugs and animals found in local waterways and their role in the water’s environment.

After the presentation, kids can explore water tables with various bugs and animals from around the Lapeer area. Water tables may include bugs and animals such as dragonflies, caddisflies, mayfly larvae, snails, crawfish, worms, minnows and more.

This program will take place on the deAngeli branch lawn and is a hands-on program with bugs, dirt and water, attendees should dress accordingly.
