Child Tutoring: Tutoring is for elementary children between grades 1st through 4th who need assistance in reading and/or math. Kids will have one-to-one instruction with a trained tutor.

Babies and their caregivers are invited to a special themed social event made just for them every other month. A short storytime followed by playtime with their new friends. Ages 0-2. 

Bring your knit, crochet, or other craft project for an enjoyable evening with other like-minded hobbyists. This group meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 6 pm to 7 pm at the de Angeli Branch Library.

Playtime for little learners! Friday Friends can help children develop social skills by playing with their peers. Kids of all ages with an adult are welcome to join, but best for ages 2-4.

Everyone has a story to tell! In this workshop, you’ll learn about the tools, terms, and techniques used in bookbinding, then apply your new skills to create your own mini storybook.

Caregivers will choose colors to seal in a plastic bag and their babies will squish the paint around to create a masterpiece! Participants will take their painting home in the bag, cut away the plastic, and let it air dry. 

Enjoy popcorn and a movie at the library! We will have relaxing lighting, activity sheets, and coloring pages.

Science, technology, math, and engineering activities for ages 4 and up.

Learn about Oakdale with an informative slideshow followed by a walk out to the cemetery.

The Family Literacy Center invites you to Math Game Nights for kids from kindergarten to 5th grade and their parents. This program offers a range of activities that focus on building math skills, problem-solving, and logic in a fun setting.

Stop by the Elba library during operation hours to pick up a Build-A-Bear Take-It-Make-It kit and have fun making your bear at home.
