Learn all about WATER! An Environmental Scientist will demonstrate the water cycle with a hands on enviroscape demo, read a story, and give away some goodies from MDHHS. Program provided by the Environmental Health Bureau - MDHHS.

Join the Cup of Brushes painting class, led by Erika Odykirk, for step-by-step group instructions on creating a beautiful painting.

The Knitters Group meets at the Metamora Branch Library on Thursdays from 1-3pm in the meeting room. Participants are welcome to gather to knit or do other crafts that can be hand carried. No paints or other liquids allowed.

Anyone interested in crochet, knitting felting, sewing, spinning weaving or any other fiber art is welcome. All skill levels are welcome!

Wendy Byard spent twenty years teaching her students to write creatively and get published. Now it's her turn. She has penned Devil in the Dunes, an engrossing kidnap suspense novel set on the charming - and often deadly - coast of Lake Michigan.

TLC helps make the library a better place for teens. Meeting at the deAngeli Branch Library on the third Thursday of the month. Meetings take place in the fiction area on the second floor of the building.

Join us at the library for an evening filled with music and fun! Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic to enjoy a fantastic family-friendly event at the park pavilion.
 

We will do a welcome song, learn each other’s names, and read one story. It is a great opportunity to meet up and play outside! Perfect for families with toddlers or younger children. In the event of rain, we will cancel.

Join us at 2PM on select Fridays for a story from the book Johnny and the Best Day Ever from local author and storyteller, Robert Curry. Each date will be a different story and craft. Families with kids of all ages welcome. Registration required.

Little Learners will explore their senses through a hands-on activity, creating their own sensory bottle or shaker to take home! Designed for ages 0–4, this special program is presented in partnership with Sloan Museum.

Join us at the library for a fun pick-up game of horseshoes! There are six horseshoe pits available behind the library for you to enjoy.

Child Tutoring: Tutoring is for elementary children between grades 1st through 4th who need assistance in reading and/or math. Kids will have one-to-one instruction with a trained tutor.
