The Friends of the Marguerite deAngeli Branch Library will be accepting material donations every 2nd and 4th Saturday in September, October and November at the Lapeer Center for Innovation from 10 a.m.

Join us for storytime, craft and play time! For kids ages 0-5.

For 60 years, the Fire Horse was a prominent feature in America. When the alarm sounded, the horses galloped out of the fire station, followed by crowds of spectators and children.

Come to the library and make a perler bead creation with our supplies. Best for families with kids 8-12.

A storytime with a craft best suited for preschool-elementary ages. All ages are welcome. Adult engagement required.

The Knitters Group meets at the Metamora Branch Library on Thursdays from 1-3pm in the meeting room. Participants are welcome to gather to knit or do other crafts that can be hand carried. No paints or other liquids allowed.

TLC helps make the library a better place for teens. Meeting at the deAngeli Branch Library on the third Thursday of the month. Meetings take place in the fiction area on the second floor of the building.

Playtime for little learners! Friday Friends can help children develop social skills by playing with their peers. Kids of all ages with an adult are welcome to join, but best for ages 2-4. 

Create a scene from your favorite book or movie and show it off to your new peers during the program. Finished projects will be on display in the children's area for one month.

For kids ages 2+. Play with Play-Doh with other kids & share with others what you made. Take your creation home afterward.

Join the team from Medicare Choices to learn about the ABC's of Medicare and the Annual Enrollment. This is an informative, educational seminar on the ins and outs of navigating Medicare.

Free family meal followed by stories for families with children ages 0-12. Registration required. Funding for this program is generously provided by the Kiwanis Club of Lapeer.
