The Knitters Group meets at the Metamora Branch Library on Thursdays from 1-3pm in the meeting room. Participants are welcome to gather to knit or do other crafts that can be hand carried. No paints or other liquids allowed.

The Hadley Book Club meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Hadley Branch. Registration is not required and new members are always welcome.

Playtime for little learners! Friday Friends can help children develop social skills by playing with their peers. Kids of all ages with an adult are welcome to join, but best for ages 2-4. 

Michigan state is home to 66 different mammals. Join Seven Ponds Nature Center to learn all about mammals in Michigan, including those in your own backyard.

For kids ages 2+. Play with Play-Doh with other kids & share with others what you made. Take your creation home afterward.

Everything thing you need to know about your computer from basics to Window's 11 and more. Presented by AVS Tech Team. If you would like to bring your laptop feel free to do that, there will be room for you.

A storytime with a craft best suited for preschool-elementary ages. All ages are welcome. Adult engagement required.

Join us for a free movie matinee program and popcorn as we "rediscover" the classic movies. The program will run approximately 2 hours depending on movie run-time and possible discuss afterwards.

TLC helps make the library a better place for teens. Meeting at the deAngeli Branch Library on the third Thursday of the month. Meetings take place in the fiction area on the second floor of the building.

If you enjoy reading and sharing books with other adults, check out the LDL Book Discussion Group. This book discussion group usually meets the fourth Friday of each month at 11:30 am at the Marguerite deAngeli Branch Library.

The Friends of the Marguerite deAngeli Branch Library will be accepting material donations every 2nd and 4th Saturday in September, October and November at the Lapeer Center for Innovation from 10 a.m.

Free family meal followed by stories for families with children ages 0-12. Registration required. Funding for this program is generously provided by the Kiwanis Club of Lapeer.

Create a scene from your favorite book or movie and show it off to your new peers during the program. Finished projects will be on display in the children's area for one month.

Babies and their caregivers are invited to a special themed social event made just for them every month. Followed by a short storytime. Ages 0-2. Registration Required.
